Confidential content is removed from a copy of a redacted document (original file remains unchanged). After redaction, the anonymized content is fully removed, and not only "covered" - as a result, it is not possible to read it (the redacted document contains only the content after anonymization)
5. FULLFILLING GDPR REQUIREMENTS
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25 May 2018 and introduces the right for individuals to have their personal data deleted under the “Right to be forgotten” idea. 6. USER FRIENDLY VIEWS
The user has two types of views of the redacted document, that is:

Editing view - where you can see content marked for redaction – text & images chosen for removal is highlighted

View after redaction – choosing „Preview” you can see how the file will look like after removing the marked content and applying properties of redacted areas

Additionally, on the left menu, there is a list of anonymized phrases – each refers to specific place in your document
